to run to
no Valkyrie’s flying
overhead
no Wagner’s composing
music
only aloofness and
isolation
above the law and the
people
ignoring any and all
who suggest
retreating on
vacations too many
yet they’ve excuses a
plenty
hiding in their
coveted nest
in their inselberg’s
steeple
hiding in almost
desperation
consulting their
soul’s psychic
their ego’s to be
forced fed
acting as if they’re
the fool!
