"Lack of Understanding" (thought)

 

“Some have reported it was just a lack of understanding on those who corrupted the voting process.  But a lack of understanding is not even a consideration for the way the election turned out (if it really did); as over 100,000 votes in some states were yet to be counted. When people deliberately cheat, lie, steal, are froward towards all others and are found in positions of public trust – this is absolutely not a lack of understanding. This is a direct insult to our intelligence and fraught with determination to destroy what they decide to attack. Currently it is our nation – our beliefs – and most importantly our families and freedoms.  When states have on their ballots for gay marriage and whether porn stars are supposed to wear protection they’ve gone way beyond the mark and BO called a spade a spade when he said we were no longer a Christian Nation. Surely we’re in the pits of stink holes when the voter demographics tell their story.  Yes there’s light at the end of the tunnel – but it will require that we each understand what is deliberately taking place in our nation. To endure on the high road and not compromise with the adversary – and to teach by both example and knowledge what is right and good.  Falling on deaf ears – maybe – but as the Scriptures tell us there will be no excuses at the bar of judgment – if one has heard, read or seen they cannot say they didn’t know or understand.”  c/ork 11/10/12

Smashing pumpkins in wells

sewer gases arising to ensnarl

snakes and gators to devour

while the sheep cower down

rains pelting the naked found

no more the proud undaunted

see how the fear now swells

while all about now to gnarl

putridly their breaths to sour

human values thus drown

lack of understanding bound!
