Father spoke;
“Let them be one flesh,
husband and wife
eternally and forever,”

Yet each Sabbath Day
ignored this command
ignored this ordinance
marriage not for eternity
but only until a death,

In the garden performed
the first marriage to be
setting the pattern/law
decreed from on high
never rescinded ever
thus where to be found
married only for time
or for all eternity
heirs together forever,

Each Sabbath Day
many do pray but how
for the purpose of earth
mortal probation too
as stated in Malachi,
“Families are forever,
lest all be for naught”
which started long ago
in the garden!
