Though very young
innocence in bloom
morning glories bright
so calm amid chaos
ignoring the lights
immune to the music
listening to promptings
daily and warm in awe
a child of God knowing
not to fear the unknown
the past, present,
future
calm is the child today
knowing Father’s plan
eternal and forever
for each of us to live
if we but listen
softly!
