What a surprise we had
twins only five months
what could we do …
we endured with smile
then asked advice next
our nephew Tristan
suggesting Grandpa
quickly we implored
(Tristan’s grandfather
our Great Uncle Chuck)
now we’ve a plan to do
no more Minnie/Mickey
or Daisy/Donald to be
even Pebbles/BamBam
possible chip and dale
rather to be two peas
maybe even radishes
no longer caught
unaware
even thou twins
boy/girl
Alexis will intervene
I’ll nod by head
Mom-Dad listening
Please – pea pods
Carrot sticks or corn
Smile – love you
Mother and Father
Alexis/Zachary
your loving twins!
