Still With Me”

The
journeys been arduous
bumps,
overflowing rivers
terrific
storms and obstacles
concussions
and blackouts
still
fighting back always
wearing
tearing wondering
sometimes
angry at me
but
nevertheless patient
some
think memory chips
getting
old forgetful more
others
worried where I am
inside
my cranium there
my brain
fighting alive
throughout
mortality
wanting
more action today
unable
to rest in sleep
not
wanting to miss
a next
adventure in time!
