hear the promptings
but then
just turn away
pretending
not to hear at all
till one
day they no longer do
oh this
is so very very true
missing
Father’s sacred call
thus in
the worldly to stay
hearing
not the promptings;
Thus to
pause – hesitate
considering
why we’re here
where
once did we come
where
someday we’ll go
is it to
return home we know
Father’s
commission done
finding the
veil now shear
why in
our minds this debate;
Are we
listening if so to who
promptings
able to save us
either
in small or major ways
daily a
gift of the restoration
to lead
us to our destination
trimming
our sails and stays
having
all our sheets cirrhus
saving
family, ship and crew!
