First
this home then another
rushed to
and fro angrily
sometimes
at night time
always
as if to be hidden
rejected
and unwanted
thus perplexed
when young
needing
to know of where
what is
a home or parents
amid
childhood outside
wondering
deep inside
parents
what were they
till the
day embraced
filled
with intense love
looking
around to see
learning
to look above
seeing
Heavenly Father
beckoning
me to him
led by
Heavenly Mother
taken to
his side just now
being
told only for a while
then if
obedient to return
softly
and quietly to sleep
awakening
again just here
knowing
someday always
eternally
and forever loved
changing
amid childhood
knowing
with a surety
I’ve eternal
parents
who await
my return
quelling
my soul being
accepting
mortality today
eternally
tomorrow always!
