attack France cross channel
into the
teeth of Germany’s best
untrained
and untried Americans
troops
recruited off the streets
ready
and willing to fight to win
but
woefully underprepared
Churchill
argued against this
first
going to Africa’s action
space
and distance to learn
he had
learned in WW1 death
when
unprepared troops fight
poor
planning over-zealous
taking
those lessons today
saving
thousands of lives
prepared
now for D-Day!
