“Going to a Parade”

Was asked today if
going
replied knew him when
alive
rather remember this
and not the PC circus
he was a very good
man
who’s message was
clear
not the jabbering of
today
racism – hatred –
separation
he was about doing it
right
not about just black
and white
but I knew him spoke
with him

Summer)
no not going to a parade
but into my memory
thinking
what if – and knowing
there will be no what
if
by those who use him
stealing his legacy
away
from those who need
it most
keeping slavery alive
and well
within the PC
communities!
