Sheep”

Once
human beings known
slowly
bending over backwards
till all
backbone lost in time
losing
their minds senseless
feelings
lost and icy cold
at first
feeding the wolves
catering
to their needs
voting
them to leadership
still
pretending to be sheep
thinking
they’ve rights
until
too late realization
not only
were they sheep
but they
highlighted menu
a
feeding frenzy begun
our
nation being devoured
the
pretended sheep traitors
betraying
those men/women
who were
still fighting back
for
freedom and rights
to be
counted human
and not
as the sheep!
