Within
innocence alive
putting
small hands up
covering
eyes so to see
you can’t
see him more
or she
closes her eyes
and we’ve
all gone away
blinking
eyes as if magic
followed
by quick smiles
marvels
of instructions
teaching
us all of love
blinks
and smiles alone
understanding
each
our
infants do reach!
