Laying
prone in the night
gazing
skyward in quiet awe
only
stars and moon seen
reflecting
off of the trees
only
night sound heard
forest
swamp sounds
away
from man sounds
able to
ponder consider
feelings
able to be felt
understanding
quiet
while so
many others
in the
bright light chaos
too much
noise to hear
unable
to concentrate
caring
not for the quiet
wishing
not to ponder
wanting
not to consider
eternal
thoughts forever
rather
just the night
within
too much noise!
