Eyes
bloodstained red
searching
hours on end
unable
to rest or break
needing
one more to find
then
another and so on
never
completing a task
ever
searching the night
knowing
each is there
just
need to find them
resisting
attempts to rest
knowing
they’re waiting
searching
one more place
engulfed
needing sleep!
