Sabbath Day bells
hymns resounding
prayers ascending
yet is it just quiet
really no sounds
such a small voice
overwhelmed within
children playing
adults sleeping
music screaming
tv’s blaring loudly
discordances found
morning time shown
no different by day
on the Sabbath Day!
