Leaving
the summertime
entering
into the fall time
softer
colors no longer
a new
vibrancy to see
brilliant
gold’s and reds
gone the
hues of warmth
now the sharpness
of cold
deer in
the woods abound
hawks
seem more often
ice on
the morning dew
a chill
in the air all day
entering
the fall of year
awaiting
the wintertime!
