“Worthy to do the Errand”

Comes the warmth ever within

a prompting to another’s need

will I be careless of this to heed

or feel intense warmth within?

 

Am I worthy to do the errand

can the Lord trust in me so

will I immediately know to go

fulfilling fully this duty within?

 

Never knowing who’s prayer

just knowing the Lord has need

humbled he’s called me to heed

knowing in worthiness I’ll care!

 

Doctrine and Covenants 64:29 Wherefore, as ye are agents, ye are on the Lord’s errand; and whatever ye do according to the will of the Lord is the Lord’s business.
