"Muddy Clarity Unseen"

"Muddy Clarity Unseen"

Mud settled and yet creeps upstream.
The once fertile forest now lay a landscape cleared and void;
Slowly—ever slowly, the murky waters pollute the clarity.
Seeking the beauty but fraught with trees
muddy, the thoughtless brought down the mighty to see beyond;
Now sheer soils spoiled, never finding the mind or sight—
the once great monuments laid down, yet still the many remained unable to see!
Ankle deep, the stream a torrent to cross no grandeur or beauty
only obscurity found and no greater we are then thought.
At once a cool refreshing rivulet lay now a murky river
—Muddy clarity is but blindness!
Confused and bewildered the many seek further for the greater view.
Off they trek away frustrated and no wiser
reality still unfound
accepting the worldly
unknowing clarity and beauty—the eternal!
