“Lukewarm”

Gathering in the sunlight
such a wonderful day
cool breezes flourishing
great day for sailing
going to the city park
swimming in the sea
and thanking God for all;

Ignoring the Sabbath call
a believer yet all can see
to any our voices to hark
neither hot nor cold failing
our souls not nourishing
we’d rather be at play
lukewarm within the light!
