Saddened I was today
you didn’t to me come
sitting alone in my tree
so very was I concerned
thus I flew all about
nowhere you to find
you who’re so kind
I then tried to shout
my sadness earned
did you also miss me
my friend – my chum
saddened I was today!

Then upon my learning
you were sick today
thus quickly I did pray
my small wings churning!
