Constantly
paying the price
greater with
each passing war
men/women
learning little
how
better to kill/maim others
ignorantly
giving away choice
accepting
the adversary
willing
not to fight but demand
understanding
not freedom
responsibility
– accountability
freedom
to be paid for
only by
the very few who do
while
others wondering why!
