Constantly
hearing engines
clear and
strong in takeoffs
coughing
- whining returning
hearing
all even the screams
planes
on-fire or exploding
the
dreaded sirens of aid
landings
the more afraid
taking
off exhilarating
then the
shrill whine
‘kamikaze’
incoming
days of infamy
go on
landings
and takeoffs!
