Strange are the
allies seen
wherein unknowns
joining
common the enemy
within
thus heard often
outside
‘let me fight with
you, today’
soon where only one
or two
now a dozen joined as
one
more and more
arriving here
where once you stood
alone
fearing and knowing
death
now a chance to fight
again!
