Thinking being invited within just

however within reach yet not

left in the cold once more found

dwelling in the darkness chill

for many who’ve been found

thought their election was sure

having followed the teachings

traditional and in good standing

yet as they reached their hand

all was snatched away quickly

hearing the voice trailing away

‘ye never knew me – no not one!”
