Simple to take a breath

Avoiding hopefully death;

 

Trying to breathe within

Yet absolving self in sin;

 

Violating the truths known

Into a deep ravine shown;

 

Extinction awaiting most

Ignored the heavenly host;

 

Too late with too little to be

Caught in the gray all to see!
