Opening and receiving gifts

which we need to understand

some being of good others evil

nothing is free except the gift

when accepted has a price;

 

All asking some from each

the good always obedience

for one to be found worthy

thus earning our way eternal

which justice requires;

 

Some demanding from each

the evil always the soul

forsaking eternal thoughts

dwelling in worldliness today

foregoing further choices;

 

Thus each agency to choose

either prepared or not found

for all given the light to know

the things needful to accept

and what each must reject!
