Each day to get let outside

first my duty to take care

patrolling and seeing anew

whatever changed to view;

 

My favorite time of the year

cold, windy and the snow

don’t like the shush or heat

my coat shinny and neat;

 

Enjoying the snow to play

running and hiding each

then appearing to be seen

a Labrador pure and clean!

(you thought I’d say mean)
