Heads in the ground
willingly
much like the three
monkey’s
nothing to see, hear
or feel
this is our
government for real;
Separated from their
liabilities
being such formal
luminaries
recusing themselves
this day
a conflict of
interest they say;
Stepping backwards to
avoid
filling the
meaningless void
feelings immune to
reality
destroying a nation
in enmity!
