Off”

Reaching
ever upward to grasp
leaping
and then again falling
chasing
shadows day or night
searching
for the why’s of then
seeking
somewhere an end
but
knowing without one to be
for
eternal and eternal is life
while
mostly we’re found here
being
relentless at casting off
places
more familiar to be bound!
