there’ll be no noise

just be quiet in plane

maybe you’ll hear

the howling winds

buffeting the plane

we’ll be flying today

80 thousand feet

about right to feel

Racing through woods

crackling the tree tops

just barely heart screams

animals unable to escape

raging down hills and up

winds boiling paint away

giant cities aflame seen

horizons frozen redness

even the sun to blink

listening in horror!

blustering winds ripping

tornado’s howling close

monstrous waves striking

hearing death hails of ships

cargo moving uncontrolled

bridges giving way in floods

never peaceful listening!

some clashing of swords

some booming of canons

too many screams agony

tanks rolling across fields

massive artillery firing

the air suction of torpedo’s

deadly silence following

listening to wars scary!

like the oldies channels

hearing Jazz greats

especially concerts

the talent shows awe

especially little children

has to be music clear

then going to town

dancing gear on

listening to music!

smelling skunk orders

as I’ve a brother

and a sister

and a nephew

all with birthdays

they’ll most likely

never read this

but that’s okay

for it’s up to us

to remember them

extended family

for which this world

has its purpose

and eternal meaning!

truth discerned pure

His Kingdom has come

on this earth once more

read your own Scriptures

listen to your feelings

this is the Sabbath Day

we’ve the right to know

predicated upon obedience

to the Commandments

(all of them – none missing)

*of course there are more than 10

sure knowledge is a promise

a covenant if you will look

wandering in darkness

confused and very lost

is simply a choice to ignore

when one really wants to know!

what’s required to pass

forgetting Paul and John*

forgetting Samuel

forgetting obedience

in ALL things given

learning not tokens

neither of the signs

most of all of Temples

ordinances – sealing

how sad those looking

seeing only the logismoi

myths and teaching false

placing limitations on Father

thus ignoring the Atonement

of our Lord and Savior

thinking gates and fences!
