“Day of Infamy”

Clear was the day of attack

(oh some were warned)

America in Pearl Harbor

with no declaration of war

ceasing of diplomatic ties

lost in the endless red tape

(Russia knew and Japan)

(some say others knew too)

out of the skies planes

‘Tora – Tora – Tora’ heard

complete surprise complete

then started the carnage

ships in the harbor with crews

some in dry dock for repairs

planes in neat rows in place

barracks strafed as well

till after the 2nd wave quiet

sirens, explosions, silence

clear is now the memory

of this ‘day of infamy’!

One could go back to Masada

others even further back

the Babylonian capture

Egypt killing the infants

Rome doing the same

each days of infamy always

wherein where to begin

bringing forth recollections

most never taught in schools

many denied or rewritten

winners always decry losers

hanging them on crosses

trees, sometimes just shot

days of infamy are different

starting in the minds of humans

planning and executing evil

thus the pain intensifies

days of infamy don’t just occur

they’re planned to demoralize

then excused as needed

like today within our streets

losers executing for pelf

those who don’t see views

of socialism and hatred

exercised by minions many

uneducated and caring less!

having practiced for years

others not quite as vivid

the Rape of Nanking

the Night of Glass

each with a description

man’s inhumanity to man

what follows will by thoughts

most no longer taught!)

When praying or imploring

supplicating for peace

is it for within yourself asked

or beyond your abilities

such as world peace for all;

Did you hear or listen at all

Scriptures on hostilities

beyond ours to be tasked

therefore we should quiesce

hopeless in our reforming;

This time of year many tears

wondering why so many wars

unheeding the Prophets call

the world is a very evil place

we’ve to have only inner peace;

Jesus Christ is the King of Peace

nothing to do with this space

harkening us to him one/all

landing on his safe shores

quelling our many fears!

Time to tell the truth America

either we’re America or not

if you feel you’re not free

then leave and go somewhere

almost anywhere will do today

only freedom is found in America

unfortunately some feel bound

thus they hate and burn flags

they love bondage so much

they’ll riot in the streets crying

if not getting their way always

if you really mean it – leave

This is America one Nation

Under God –

accept the consequences

if you love America stand up

if you don’t then please leave

the adversaries plan is bondage

without agency of choices!

This pretty much says it all! It’s sad, but it’s oh so true.

Your Grandfather watched as his friends died in WWI ...

Your Father watched as his friends died in WWII and Korea ...

My friends fought and died in Vietnam ...

I watched as our friends and children fought and died in Desert Storm...

I watched and waited while our friends and children fought and died in Iraq...

None of them fought for or died for the Mexican Flag or any other foreign flag...

Everyone fought for and died for the U.S. Flag!

In Texas, a student raised a Mexican flag on a school flag pole; another student took it down.

Guess who was expelled... The kid who took it down.

Kids in high school in California were sent home this year on Cinco de Mayo because they wore T-shirts with the American flag printed on them.

Enough is enough. The e-mail message below needs to be viewed by every American; And every American needs to stand up for America.

We've bent over to appease the America-haters long enough... I'm taking a stand...

I'm standing up because the hundreds of thousands who died fighting in wars for this country, and for the U.S. Flag can't stand up...

And shame on anyone who tries to make this a racist message...

Let me make this perfectly clear!

THIS IS MY COUNTRY! And, my making this statement DOES NOT Mean I'm against immigration!!!

YOU ARE WELCOME HERE IN OUR COUNTRY!

Welcome! To come through legally:

1. Get a sponsor!

2. Get a place to lay your head!

3. Get a job!

4. Live By OUR Rules!

5. Pay YOUR Taxes!

And

6. Learn the LANGUAGE, like immigrants have in the past!!

AND

7. Please don't demand that we hand over our lifetime Savings of Social Security Funds to you.

When will AMERICANS STOP giving away THEIR RIGHTS ???

Do we read and understand

much is told to us in Scripture

never taught from the pulpit

believe what the Savior says

his Prophets speak as him

therefore we will live after death

having repented and obeyed

becoming one with him here

not by standing still doing nothing

but proactively going forth

on this the Sabbath Day

seeking His Church – only one

restored in these latter-days!

Revelations 3:21 To him that over cometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Whether Democrat, Republican or Independent, here's something to think about:

We hear a cacophony of blaring and bleating from the media and the Hillary supporters that she won the popular vote and therefore she should be president, 60,839,497 to 60,265,847. 47.8% to 47,3% with the remaining 4.9% going to the other candidates. But here is a more in-depth analysis:

Trump won the popular vote in 31 states to her 19 and DC... 62% to her 19%. Trump led in the total popular vote for all states except California. She won California 5,860,714 to his 3,151,821. 61.6% to 33.1% exclusive of the other candidates. Thus California gave Hillary the popular vote for all states as claimed by the Democrats and their media supporters.

But deduct her California vote from her national vote, it leaves her with 54,978,783, and deduct Trumps California vote from his national total, it leaves him with 57,113,976, he wins in a landslide in the total for the other 49 states, 51.3% to her 48.7%.

So, in effect, Hillary was elected president of California and Trump was elected president of the rest of the country by a substantial margin.

This exemplifies the wisdom of the Electoral College, to prevent the vote of any one populace state from overriding the vote of the others.

With our voter registration available when getting a driver's license combined with undocumented immigrants allowed driver's licenses we have no controls in place to keep non-citizens from voting.

So I ask you, frankly, do you REALLY want California voters to elect your presidents for you? Or any other heavily populated state? It would be like the tail wagging the dog. The average state has 8.7 members in the US House of Reps. We have 53. If states weren't restricted to two senators each, CA would have 12.

If no electoral college, candidates would only campaign probably only in CA and NY....all they'd need to win.

The founding fathers never cease to amaze me with their foresight and wisdom.

In fact, we could use an electoral college in CA.

In the grasping to educate

a nation divided as ours

maybe something can help

understand the voting process

as seen by the smaller states

(now including all but a couple)

determining who’ll lead or follow

while for decades transition

one president to another

some really good others not

still the president of the US

without riots or poor losers

only a couple exceptions

(the Civil War and today)

one based on the law

the one today on stupidity

simple and plain dumbness

understanding not the process

the electoral college in toto’

therefore another attempt

for the deaf to hear clear

the blinded to again see

and for those without feeling

maybe a touch of reality!

Whose time is measured

not as man measureth

will we each have to meet

for some decades found

others a blinking of the eye

gathering fires of Holocaust

igniting awakened memories

chambers of death in sight

dismally facing each day

or seeing the butterflies

understanding the ten days

comprehending the refiner

jumping willingly into fires

to be tried and found worthy

how will we be found to obey

each has their Holocaust

collectively with others

or within alone and lost

not as man measureth

each’s time is measured!

Revelations 2: 10 Fear none of those

things which thou shalt suffer:

behold, the devil shall cast some

of you into prison, that ye may be tried;

and ye shall have tribulation ten days:

be thou faithful unto death, and

I will give thee a crown of life.

"Of No Avail"

Was asked to sign a petition to the Pope of the Catholic Church – my response and thought – c/ork

Hi – years ago I was an active member of the Catholic Church – long discussions with a Priest (after being allowed to read the Bible cover to cover – 1955) we decided after five years of deep discussion I should quest to see if a Church married up to the Holy Bible – it took years and I found it – so my letter to your Pope would not be of much avail – thank you for thinking of me – chuck

learning of the Gospel

taught by Moses/Isaiah

and all of the Apostles

even the minor Prophets

studying line by line

precept by precept each

thus my learning to pass on

mostly to no avail or response

opening doors and windows

letting the light shine about

hoping the blind will see

the deaf to hear it all

feelings to be warmed

learning the Gospel all

reading the Holy Bible!
