a barely audible voice

says this is Chuck

Joyce needs help

with the sand bags

you reply at the office

son and I will be by

within an hour

sand bags stored

Joyce reports

Chris and Taylor

came by and helped

said if we needed

anything more to call

bewildered who’s Chris

I’d called the wrong number

thinking speaking

to someone else

I’d gotten a friend

who’s beyond a friend

hoping somewhere

along this path

I’d have done

or have done

the same!
