In the face of storms
all of the elements
extremes comes one
fighting since birth
to survive and give
concern overriding
crossing boundaries
providing counsel
hard and difficult
yet like the lighthouse
giving comfort
knowing it’s there
always Marc-Charles
found there fighting
unwilling to waver
tempered in fires
cooled in the waves
celebrating a birthday
this day and always!
