“Prove You”

What is man most afraid of? Joy! What is the greatest Joy – to stand in the presence of Heavenly Father – face to face! Yet even from the days earliest recorded – to Moses – to Jesus’s ministry – to today – men fear this joy to the point of turning their faces – fearing his presence. “Yet men are that they might have joy,” (2 NE 2:25). c/ork

“Prove You”

Within the Scriptures we hear ‘prove’

mostly referencing us to prove God

while in the deepest sense it is us

who need to be proved before God

seeking our salvation in obedience

either fully or without merit the test

as found in Exodus 20:20 we read

“And Moses said unto the people,

Fear not: for God is come to prove you,

and that his fear may be before

your faces, THAT YOU SIN NOT”

while we’re tested and refined

it is always to return to obedience

‘if you love me, keep my commandments’

thus prove you this day – free from sin!
