A grain of salt flavors
all which it contacts
until so diluted
unable to do more
each time broken
worn on the edges
tattered and beaten
some lost here/there
till still salt but not
as with men/women
dilution of their souls
unaccepting of truth
full and absolute
no longer with savor
abused and forgotten
taking of the living
found dead but alive
bound within chains!
