Recalling what has been learned

going back into thousands of years

quickly reversing switching gears

so much history to be discerned;

 

Yet unable to remember yesterday

or covenants made in a lifetime

somehow drawing an invisible line

between what we do and then say;

 

When each will come before the bar

where stands one in the Savior there

with him Satan without nary a care

and Prophets who we think are afar;

 

Then will hypermnesia come on us

each will remember all been taught

some in humbleness some distraught

finding who we, what we did thus;

 

Can we care even a little about today

seeking to know more of the Plan

will we allow our minds to scan

remembering all on this Sabbath Day!
