Prophet born for the world
rejected
and ultimately murdered
vilified
by the media and clergy
accused
even today as a fraud
while
his teaching unchanged
remain
as true today as then
instead
of being destroyed
the
Church Restored growing
throughout
the world known
in
almost every nation grown
America’s
religion today called
words of
Tolstoy often recalled
Joseph
Smith, Jr. born today
December
23, 1806 to stay
Called by
the Father and Son
never to
deny this sacred trust
known far
and wide by most
only
understood by the few
never
wavering from his call
beaten,
persecuted, denied
yet all
he said and built then
today
growing still in truth
this day
was a Prophet born
into
this world to call and warn!
