“Always at War”

Many forget each without recall

the great wars fought in heaven

one-third of the host banished

never to have life in mortality

having all failed the first test;

 

Yet they cannot ever find rest

they seek us now in mortality

creating chaos till all banished

destroying eternal life’s leaven

for none to hear Father’s call;

 

Harken in the Scriptures bound

the Plan of Salvation is the way

lessons in how all of us can resist

but even here were beguiled

the Creeds of men to override;

 

Prophets to be refuted and to hide

religion then to be neatly restyled

men/women crying all to resist

pray a little but mostly just play

never a Celestial Kingdom found;

 

War on this earth in our mortality

will continue on until all evil done

for men/women rejoice in combat

fearing the peace of Father and Son

restlessly seeking to out their lust;

 

Telling one an all no one to trust

wars will be fought and not won

seemingly frustrating each a gnat

the Scriptures teaching all to shun

as in heaven are wars in mortality!
