“Death’s Sacrificed”

It’s been 71 years
long ago
some alive and
remember
many taken their last
breath
some then and some
today
death’s sacrificed
for others
all claiming right on
their side
while those truly
evil abide
blaming others and
not self
putting
men/women/children
into the storms of
destruction
hailing bullets and
bombs
napalm and even worse
saying they would’ve
died
for time takes all in
the end
yet these death’s
sacrificed
as men fear peace
above all
embracing war in
avoidance!
