A commandment given to receive

great blessings are thus in store

but what if we choose not to

what then is our plight to be?

Oh each Sabbath Day we see

knowing that it’s to be kept true

in these Latter-days to restore

our covenants many to conceive;

Holding fast to the Word of God

making sure our course to stay

lest we ever start thus to stray

praying constantly to our God!
