The God
of Isaac, Jacob
Abraham,
Moses, Israel
and of
all the Prophets
are we
not their children
are we
not the chickens
have we
not been gathered
over and
over again done
rejecting
the inner warmth
refusing
to obey or honor
now
found desolate alone
being
without feelings
cold
having lost vision
hearing
impaired chaos
refusing
to be gathered
refusing
to honor God
refusing
to fully obey
the God
of Isaac, Jacob!
3 Nephi10:4 O ye people of these great cities which
have fallen, who are descendants of Jacob, yea, who are of the house of Israel,
how oft have I gathered you as a hen gathereth her chickens under
her wings, and have nourished you.
