Awaits”

Long ago
six men met
called
of the Lord to serve
restoring
the eternal Gospel
starting
again God’s Kingdom
upon
this earth in latter-days
so many
pray for the same
in
repetitious prayer daily
repeating
the Savior lesson
giving
the order of prayer
not to
be repeated but shown
calling
upon the Father
being
grateful for all things
(as
daily they occur to each)
petitioning
for the needful
then
closing using His name
who is
our mediator with Father
morning
awaits each daily
some
given another chance
others
taken by the way
unknowing
which we are
too many
delay their seeking
to know
the truth of all things
till too
late the sun comes up
morning
awaits each of us
as
Father and Son did once
to those
six men long ago!
