Posed not as a question

statement instead of fact

there is a Sabbath Day

many forget of the why

(it is the day Jesus arose)

it has since then always

the day to rest from the world

(noting ER services; police

Military; and those serving)

have to meet the needs

while all others should rest

being partakers of Sacrament

reading – time with family at home

in service to some in current need

but avoiding the worldly things

long gone is the Sabbath Day

still coming and going in turn

as if no Commandment exists

sporting events – movies – bars

going to the stores as always

thus posed not as a question

this statement of truthfulness

Sabbath Day to be kept holy

untainted by the worldly

for it is the Savior’s Day!

Dancing as if a stranger

looking through dark glass

seeing confusion ignited

people voting for one thing

politicians ignoring selfish

padding their pockets pelf

paying tribute to soros

other gods acknowledged

getting grand fees of thanks

giving absolutely nothing

for the people or nation

bewildered msm supports

deeming anything good bad

constrictions of freedom

as if a stranger watching

this nation I love so much

dancing in self-destruction!

Acts 26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

Almost have said kings

would guess also queens

great men and women

all walks of life turning

hearing what they want

then saying ‘almost’ but not

wondering how many today

answering the same hearing

truthful words soft warming

memories of the home left

then worried about peers

thinking of sacrifices to make

struggling which path to take

hearing the crowd’s leers

staring across the cleft

ignoring the warning

his peers thus fearing

unable Zion’s path stay

wondering of a past forgot

souls and feelings gaunt

into the fiery flames burning

all walks of life’s listen

hiding behind dark screens

almost when as truth brings!

Choices made or not made

Still a choice has been made;

One who says no or maybe

The decision is a no not maybe;

Going to the west or the east

North south seeking the beast;

Varmints in the woods hiding

While robbers found riding;

Indecent profanity spoken oft

Where decency many scoff;

Either – or some want both

Vindictive full of sloth!

Crawling in the desert

hot and cold nights/days

thoughts wondering

pondering the nights

chilling to the bones

sweating away in day

seeking the water holes

seeking living water

needful for moisture

eating of the dust

time strained pure

seeking living water

crawling in the desert!

How often my mind weeping

tears seemingly slow seeping;

Calling to family friends oft

begging them to look aloft

hearing the whispers soft

carried within by the waft;

How much now to be lost

terrible now to be cost

family/friends so tossed

unable traditions crossed;

Here the Gospel to know

eternal families to grow

Father’s Plan to show

Again my tears to flow;

Please try to see the view

accepted only by the few

words in the sands drew

scriptures written true;

Journey’s seemingly in vain

unable to share in this bane

this pinnacle and this quoin

weeping my tears as rain;

Tears seemingly slow seeping

how often my mind weeping!

Deaf, dumb, blind, arrogant

refusing to believe Scriptures

seeking signs and miracles

missing all that’s found

refusing to believe today

wanting only dead Prophets

wanting only man’s words

missing the writing on the wall

till too late embraced in death

spiritual death accepted

nothing into nothing taught

without body and passions

deaf, dumb, blind, arrogant!

1 Peter 3:7 means eternal

over and over in my mind

this I know to be true always

‘…heirs together forever…’

dating my eternal bride

mentioned this over and over

man’s till death do you part

made no sense – never has

marriage is eternal – forever

and on each Sabbath Day

when partaking of Sacrament

ringing in my mind is always

a Sabbath thought eternal

thought I’d share with you !

Apathy is so prevalent

as if a gas in the air

young people losing

finding no path to follow

except least resistance

whatever is happening

whatever they’ve to do

matters not – nothing at all

taught there is nothing

six enclosed walls

creatio ex nihilo

whatever is okay

sadly in adults too

selfishness infested

breathing in the gases

selling their lives short

so prevalent is apathy!

Fog moving in to remove

fading away what’s seen

till nothing more is there

as if nothing every was

much like the mind denial

refusing to believe truth

fading away any substance

taking from the reality

chasing molecules mixed

just the gray massive

covering one’s view

eternity never to see

memories going blank

amid the moving fog

as if nothing is nothing!

car in the driveway and kids

neighbors who we know well

small neat homes for most

some in apartments too

a pittance compared today

wealth and power they’ve

we’ve got love and compassion

a pittance to some we know

but the world to each of us!

America stood up to be counted

clean fresh air filled the nation

back room elitist’s hateful

led by the most vile types

greedy, lustful, despicable

actors/actresses ugly

wearing their make-up

thinking themselves something

interminable is their bile

nothing compared to ours

and our love of America!

Seeking to destroy America

basically by any means possible

the left and those hateful minions

rioting and defacing and lying

seeking to destroy freedoms

wanting no more responsibility

wanting no more accountability

only the few to rule all the rest

striving with widdershins all ways

caring not of methods or fairness

caring not of the innocent lost

education has dumbed down

this newest generation lost

beguiled and seduced

ruined almost at birth

seeking to destroy America

feeling it’s their right to do so!

Often times when very young

walking miles upon untold miles

back roads and dark at night

needing comfort calling Father

‘whisper to me, Father’ quiet

then walking further, darker

conversing with my brother

feeling more comfortable in him

not sure I was worthy of Father

thoughts flooding my mind

quietly the still small voice

comforting me always then

requiring me to have faith

then unlocking my feelings

to the promptings of Spirit

when running towards home

not here but so far away

only a distant memory then

needing Father’s reassurance

walking miles upon untold miles

often times when very young!
