A weekend of remembering

thinking of the heroes known

common men/women each

doing uncommon actions

seeking for the better good

within a world filled with hate

soldiers/nurses/sailors/marines

air force/coast guard/citizens

coming to the line in warfare

fighting those wanting ours

to destroy freedoms fully

thus in remembering here

those within our nations evil

traitors worse than enemy

living, eating, sharing

while with guile to destroy

main stream media there

political leaders/radicals

illegal aliens – terrorists

remembering the good

while never forgetting

those evil among us!
