I
watched it as it fell silent
not a
sound anywhere heard
once
upon the tree alive
now upon
the ground dead
yet is
it really dead to be
when did
it die or has it
just a
simple when to know
for its
life appears eternal
once but
a bud within
vibrant
in full bloom
then
rusting rustling
falling
to the ground
yet now
to break apart
reentering
the ground
beginning
all over again
when
just a simple when
I
watched as it fell silent!
