Gone off to the front
first hand to see battle
bayonets fixed in place
none to retreat again
protecting family/home
protecting freedom/rights
thus the fighting fierce
bloodied and violent
yet unwearyingly
without thought of life
renewed energy found
pressing forward always
righteously engaged
unwearyingly to be!
