Approaching the 4th of July – wherein we celebrate not just our freedoms – but more importantly those who helped us to become the United States – one nation under God! While many today seek to ignore both the men/women and our God for these freedoms. Thus my friends – tears escape me – almost uncomprehending this attitude of both disrespect and ignorance of our Heavenly Father, his Son our Savior, and the Founding Fathers and Mothers of our once free nation. c/ork

As rain in the Spring
snow in the Winter
searing heat of Summer
freezing of the Fall
yet man’s stupidity
continues unabated
ignoring laws or reason
claiming a higher right
clenching fists high
cheering in the night
matters not a season
evil goals not debated
embracing stupidity
tears escape me
as rain in a downpour
snow hiding dirt white
heat to sear the mind
freezing in my heart!
