“Media Personnel”

Many remember Sherman

never forgetting the name

feeling it’s in a hall of shame

but still and all he was a man;

Offering sound advice to heed

on the media personnel today

160 years ago he had his say

into their feeding frenzy to feed;

Many could add to his claims

traitors, evil, transgressors

aiding and abetting oppressors

all should be burning in flames;

Forgetting much of the past

seeing today’s shameful acts

bowing to POTUS in their sacks

their damage a long time to last;

Taking down values and beliefs

transgressing all good they find

parasites to everyone they remind

worse than the worst of thief’s;

Without souls or understanding

blacker than the coals of death

breathing in poison each breath

print and video trust demanding;

Once a noteworthy group found

maybe before 4000BC tis said

but today their honor is dead

Satan’s minions forever bound!

Let us not forget how rigth General Sherman was!!

"Utah" (Mountain of the Lord)

2 Nephi 12:2 (Isaiah 2)
And it shall come to pass
in the last days, when the
mountain of the Lord’s
house shall be established
in the top of the mountains,

Were Nephi and Isaiah alike
speaking of the Ute’s site
is this not where the Temple
or House of the Lord is?
Overlooking the obvious
distain for religious prophecy
ignoring the obvious in spite
deciding without merit all;
The name not chosen
by the Mormon’s to be
but by the government
calling the state Utah;
Yet where is the Temple
The House of the Lord
located in this Ute area
inviting all nations to come?

The name "Utah" is derived
from the name of the Ute
tribe. It means "people of
the mountains" in the
Ute language.

Mostly fairy tale words to be

once and when long ago

far to some close to others

light years and nano-seconds

thoughts in each mind beckons

while the wind rattles shutters

once and when peace to know

Broken glass lying about

As screams not to shout;

Dreams left in lost tears

Broken through the years;

Hopes once bright dim

Survival appears slim;

Shattering’s within life

Trying to endure strife;

Breath taken away often

Hardening never to soften;

Thus brittle and now weak

Prayers unable to speak;

Yet bowing of head today

Father my thoughts pray;

Knowing he’ll hear even me

Knowing he loves little me;

Children of desperation seek

Knowing Father loves the meek!

Afraid the light of day

hiding in corners found

expecting harm from all

abused and beaten much

unlike the sunshine bright

not to come out at night

fearing the slightest touch

none to help able to call

recluses in life now bound

children afraid of the day!

Here and there finding a you

known along the way somewhere

forgotten until found on this day

chance meetings reminding us

friends once are friends always

as simple words and gestures

known only to each of us once

today remembering and sharing

life’s happenings in-between

as here and their finding a you!

Each Sabbath Day attending

various places of worship

seeking with our eyes to see

with our ears tuned to hear

with our hearts warmth to feel

touching almost within heaven

yet somehow not quite there

seeking to see beyond faith

into the world of truth and light

finding the reasons of our life

wanting to endure all we need

finding the road to Zion narrow

avoiding the broad roads

each Sabbath Day attending!

Within the various definitions

men/women always to redefine

changing things to their benefit

ignoring the literal for rhetoric;

Much as the Saturday comic

sending audiences into a fit

taking from all that’s divine

setting secular conditions;

Seeking worldly powers greed

justifying to all of their right

being saved is just enough

Saviors grace all they need;

Deceiving themselves to feed

forgetting to be more than bluff

doing all they can do in life

then comes grace so keyed;

Having done our all and all

our best and even more each

then and only then the power

which is called Savior’s grace;

Giving us lift to keep our place

allowing us to endure this hour

Grace = Power = Grace to teach

obedient to our Father’s call!

nothing felt or sting

only blood all around

realization of wrong

too late to fight off

much as government

stinging over and over

as jelly-fish do also

but more deadly

as shark bites

bumps in the water!

State of the art system

crashing into the abyss

picking 100 degrees to quit

without regard to company;

Complaints avail none to any

even short tempers in a fit

just how deep is this abyss

state of the art system;

Company from out of state

granddaughter’s birthday

lodging in a nearby motel

without AC in the south deep;

Hear the wailing and weep

in this visit from near hell

too tired to even want to play

this system in a sorry state!

a tall and wonderful 11 year old

sharing big smiles and hugs

enjoying snowboarding and more

playing decent guitar chords

enjoying her school employment

playing soccer and so much more

thus Happy Birthday Corinne

many and so many more!
