"Power = Grace"

 

1 Nephi 10:19 For he that diligently seeketh shall find; and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost, as well in these times as in times of old, and as well in times of old as in times to come; wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal round.

Within the various definitions

men/women always to redefine

changing things to their benefit

ignoring the literal for rhetoric;

 

Much as the Saturday comic

sending audiences into a fit

taking from all that’s divine

setting secular conditions;

 

Seeking worldly powers greed

justifying to all of their right

being saved is just enough

Saviors grace all they need;

 

Deceiving themselves to feed

forgetting to be more than bluff

doing all they can do in life

then comes grace so keyed;

 

Having done our all and all

our best and even more each

then and only then the power

which is called Savior’s grace;

 

Giving us lift to keep our place

allowing us to endure this hour

Grace = Power = Grace to teach

obedient to our Father’s call!
