"Utah" (Mountain of the Lord)

 

2 Nephi 12:2 (Isaiah 2)
And it shall come to pass
in the last days, when the
mountain of the Lord’s
house shall be established
in the top of the mountains,
and shall be exalted above
the hills, and all nations shall
flow unto it.

Were Nephi and Isaiah alike
speaking of the Ute’s site
is this not where the Temple
or House of the Lord is?
Overlooking the obvious
distain for religious prophecy
ignoring the obvious in spite
deciding without merit all;
The name not chosen
by the Mormon’s to be
but by the government
calling the state Utah;
Yet where is the Temple
The House of the Lord
located in this Ute area
inviting all nations to come?

The name "Utah" is derived
from the name of the Ute
tribe. It means "people of
the mountains" in the
Ute language.
